Do the designations for these helmets imply a different design, or simply the year they were manufactured?
If they are a different design, where can I find relating info?
Thanks, PVH

Another question regarding the M40 helmet.
I've seen them listed with sizes in cm. Does this size pertain only to the liner or are the actual helmets different sizes as well?
Thanks,
PVH

PVH,
Yes the liners also came in various sizes. I produced a little piece for my own site regarding the liner system:

Hello Simon,
Thanks for the link. Your site is very thorough.
I see one example you've posted of shell/liner sizing listed as 64nA over 57. Is 7 cm usually the difference between shell and liner? My head size is 60 cm so would I need to find a 67cm shell to be correct?
Also, are the shells marked in cm size? If so, where?
Thanks again,
PVH
