Armand Barthel was french, but lived in Moselle (french area near Germany) and so had to join german Luftwaffe.
My grandmother gave me his pilot license, and I learned he spent several months in Tulln (near Vienna), at the Luftkriegsschule 7.
All I know is that he left the area with a friend during 1945, walking by night, hiding the day, to join his home town...
Does anybody know how can I find old friends, colleages of him, people who worked at the LKS7 at that time ?
Does anybody know him ? (he's also mentionned on his pilote license "Hermann" Barthel )
