Great pictures Kurt.

When I was a kid back in the 70' early 80' my family and I used to go to Blåvand in the autumn. We of course played in the bunkers and we had our own bunker.
Mine was picture "L411" which we called Finnish Castle. Sad to see it over painted with graffiti .
Picture "L485 Stand für Mammut-F-Gerät - Fernstsuchanlage" was called the Führer bunker. Reason for that was because it was the biggest one and it was placed inside military exercise area. So when live shooting was practised we couldn't get in there. Well sometimes we sneaked in anyway lol.

Yes - Blåvand is a nice place, also when the boys are shooting at the range - it can be quite interesting to go in to the area then !!!

Have you ever been out there during TFW ( Tactical Fighter Weaponry ) when the Air Force are practising on targets in the area ?

No sadly, one time when I was over there on exercise it was planned that we should see air to ground attack by the RAF and RDAF using Tornados and F-16's. But it was cancelled because of bad weather.

I have served 2 years in the King Artillery Regiment from '86 to '88 as a driver on a M-109, and then Bornholms Regiment from 1990 till 2001 in 2. battery / 12. Artillerydepartment where we had the old 105mm.
We had several trips to Oksbøl every year.
