Flak units eastside of Holland

Hello all,

I'm looking for any info concerning Flak units that served in the east of Holland during the War.Any help would be grately appreciated.

No need to plug my book again here (thanks for the other time mate!). Yes I agree - Patrick what period of time - assuming 44/45. Also what area/battle etc. Narrow down the area of interest so we can help you find the information you are looking for.

Thanks.The time period i'm looking for is 1944/1945 and i'm especially interested in the units int he area of the town of Enschede(Holland).Enschede is my home town and i used to work at the Royal Dutch Airforce base there.So if anyone has some information i would be very gratefull.

Sorry to say that I do not have any information about Flak units in Enschede. Just got a little bit about a hospital there but nothing else.

Hello Patrick,

This could be the Flak-Regiment 155 (W). (Sept.44, V1).

You could give it a try at the archives Dutch Institute for Military History also.

Are you referring to Vliegveld Twente ? then also have look at the Flak Regiment 8, Gemischte-Flak-Abteilung 155 (v) and Leichte Flak-Abteilung 667.

Thanks a lot guys and yes Richard i'm refering to Vliegbasis Twenthe.I have worked there for 12 years in the service.I will see if i can get some more research done now.
