A new website has been added. The storyline is fictional, which I wrote freehand on the computer in the order that I first saw the drawings. It wasn't laid out plan, so it flowed naturally.

I hope you enjoy this and perhaps spare a kind thought to the artist Liska. That is all the information I have on him.

If a World War II veteran wishes to have a free website in English, themed around their World War II experience, then feel welcome to send me a private message so we may discuss the concept.

Information about Hans Liska (1907-1984) is very scanty on the net :(
He was an outstanding draughstman and aquarelist. His drawings fill many pages (a good deal of colour ones, as well) of Signal magazines. Two albums with his war drawings were published in 1943 and 1944 IIRW and have been reprinted in the eighties. Famous are also his post-war car drawings for Mercedes.
Has anybody here more substantial information on his life?

I've just finished reading Milan's story and I've found it very interesting :D , even the chapters not directly devoted to war!
Well done, Milan and keep on doing that excellent work, Chris! 8)

I agree, Aitor! It's interesting to see what was going on in the background of the war. It helps to understand the people better.

G'day Olaf,

I am waiting for veterans to contact me regarding my offer.

Liska did excellent work and thank you for bringing this to my attention and in turn that we have been able to share his work with others.

Art needs to be shared to be appreciated.

Greetings from Melbourne, Australia.

Chris
