10,5cm lFH 18 in urban combat?

I have seen two seperate pictures of german troops using a 10,5cm lFH 18 in urban combat, with infantry shooting MG 34, MP 40 and Kar 98k just next to them, on in Lille, France in July 1940 and one in Schitomir, Russia, about a year later. My Qestion is: Were these actions just spontaneously ordered...

When the germans retreated from eastern prussia they took von Hindenburg´s coffin out of his Memorial and blew it up so that the Red/Russian Army wouldn´t have the triumph of capturing the man who had defeated them in WWI

Hi! As far as i know, the bundesgrenzschutz had 38000 Astra 600/43 9mmPara. they used them until they were replaced by the P1 (post-war Walther P38) in 1959. These Astras were in use with the Bundesgrenzschutz or Federal Border Guards in After-WWII-Germany after they had been paid for a second time. They had been paid for during the war and again after the war.

In The Wehrmacht most officers would probably speak at least a little English or french since they had to learn it at school. my grandfather was an officer in the navy first, later transfered to the Luftwaffe. he speaks and spoke back then English, french and russian. apart from german. in the SS, many soldiers were bullied if they did go to church. higher SS ranks were expected not to be a member of a church.this policy was mostly dropped later in the war
