Hello all,
I don't know very much about the Free Forces of the Western Allies. Such as the Free French and Poles. Were they constituted from evacuated national Army units and from where did these units get replacements for casualties from, especially mid-war. Were they all equipped from British industry or did they receive Lend-Lease aid?

Hi,
Both of that. In July 1940 at the beginning the 7000 around De gaulle were equiped with french hardware. After when they were more, the equipement became british. At the end of the war, it was mostly american. Except for the Bomb Group Aunis in 1944/1945 with its Junker Ju 88. The americans begin to help massively the french army after the operation Torch in november 1942.
So long.
