Its a bit bare but its a start.

http://groups.msn.com/Yelnia

Im translating the KTB's (from the NARA microfilm) for all the units involved in this battle. Hopefully this will turn into a book project in a few years. So far I have completed the month of July (15th - 31st) for the following units;
Panzer Group 2
46th Panzer Corps
9th Army Corps
10th Panzer Division
268th Infantry Division

new units to come for August;
4th Army
20th Army Corps
78th Infantry Division
137th Infantry Division
292th Infantry Division

The NARA does not have the records for this period for 2 units; 15th Infantry Division and 263 Infantry Division, if anyone has the Divisional histories of these ar any of the above listed unts I would love to trade for/or purchase copies of the relevant pages. The NARA also does not have records for the Grossdeutschland Infantry Regiment and SS Division Reich for this period but I have the Divisional histories for them.

Hello Robert,

Will you be filling in the links from your site? At the moment they lead to blank pages. I look forward to reading the war diary and report!

Sorry about the MSN web hosting, Im not much of a web site builder and since I use MSN it seemd like a good spot to put some of the information I have gathered. If someone has a website and would like to host the data I would be glad to send it to them.
