Daily Telegraph photos of the AdmiralGraff Spee

Post by Franklin »

I have just purchased 26 original black and white photographs of this magnificent ship taken by the telegraphs official correspondent in Montevideo.

They are all mounted and show the crew in their white uniforms with the coffins of their comrades, it shows the captain and officers with the local officials. The ship is depicated post and pre scuttling. These are all in excellent condition. I am not an historian so i know very little about this subject.

If anyone would like me to e-mail them some scans i will be very happy to do so.

Franklin, I'd love to see your photos of Graf Spee's crew.

My email is [email protected]

As posted above, your efforts are much appreciated.

If I can figure out how to do it, is there any interest in the seldom seen propaganda cards, many of the rarer cigarette cards, and raumbildalben photos being shown on this site? There are no copywrite difficulties.

regards,

Ramon
