Best military history of World War I?
I was curious is anyone had any suggestions for a single volume military history of the FIrst World War? I have read previews of books by Keegan, Gilbert, and Hart, and I'm not sure which is better. Of course the political history and the context of the war is important, but I'm more interested in the actual combat history of the war. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Best military history of World War I?
Hi Klaus,
IMHO "1914-1918: The History of the First World War" by David Stevenson is a good addition to Keegan.
Kindly regards
Prosper
N.B. Sorry for my poor english but's not my native language, that's also the reason I have several books on WWI but in french language
