Hello !
It is hard to find infos on this unit. This is what I found in addition to the data presented by Lorenz :
According to Veit Scherzer, Dt. Truppen im 2. WK, the Stab Pz.Gren.Brig. 18
became independent as Heerestruppe already on Nov. 8th, 1942.
At that time, and at least from 1.1.1943 onward, it should have been subordinated to 2. Pz.Armee,
and there specifically to
Korück 532, with the exception from 13.5.-6.6.43 where it was
attached to
XXXXVII. Pz.Korps (see scan, NARA T313 R153 F7406827).
Perhaps, during "Zitadelle", it also had another subordination to XXIII. AK., as stated by Leo Niehorster :

This Stab might also be found under the alternate designations :
Brigadestab z.b.V. 18,
Gruppe Jolasse (redesignated
Gruppe Wagner since 9.3.1943).
The KTB Pz.AOK 2 has a very detailed listing of subordinated units, which can be browsed online here :

When you make a search for the units subordinated to this HQ, you find mainly Sicherungs-Btle.
and foreign units, like different Ost-Bataillone and Reiterverband Trubtschewsk. Therefore,
I would assume, that the Stab was mainly involved in anti-partisan warfare during that timeframe.
When 2. Pz.Armee was transferred to the Southeast, Korück 532 remained in place and
its subordination changed to 9. Armee. Maybe the Stab Pz.Gren.Brig. 18 remained under that command ?!
It could help if, besides your general remarks, you specify what is your main point of interest in this Stab ?
Best regards,
hero.
