I know this is not really a translations question, but I don't know a better place to ask.
What are the time frames of the different daily situation reports. I am only assuming these run 6 hours, this is the time frmaes for each that I have been using.
Morgenmeldung - 12am - 6am
Vormittagsmeldung - 6am - 12pm
Mittagesmeldung - 12pm - 6pm
Abendmeldung - 6pm - 12am
Are these correct?

After a little further research I have come to find out that I was off by about 6 hours. I believe the periods covered by the Meldung are:
Morgenmeldung 6pm - 12am
Vormittagsmeldung 12am - 6am
Mittagsmeldung - 6 am - 12 pm
Abendmaldung 12 pm - 6 pm
These exact hours were not always followed, I have found some Meldung produced almost an hour before the proscribed time.

For our Europian military members the same in 24hs time:
Morgenmeldung: 18.00-24.00
Vormittagsmeldung: 24.00 - 06.00
Mittagsmeldung: 06.00 - 12.00
Abendmaldung: 12.00 - 18.00

Your right, I should have used the 24 hour clock to be more accurate. Thank you for pointing that out.
