The latest bombs on the fortress of Modlin.

After the complete capitulation of Warsaw, it was the turn to break the resistance of the modern fortress of Modlin, located at the confluence of the River Bug and River Vistula.

The war seen from the air. Something more about Poland 1939.

Destruction of Polish Sender stations.

Since the beginning of the war the Polish broadcasting, particularly that located in Warsaw, were devoted to issue proclamations about the German barbarians and news to keep up the morale of the population and the soldiers as well. Being destroyed the station in the capital city, the Wilna and Baranowice sender stations took its post. Both were located deep in the territory and out of reach for the German Luftwaffe. By developing the Germans blitzkrieg the bombers could bomb and destroy the radios bringing silence to the ether.
