Wow. That must have been some nice dry place where this thing was buried.
If not, it is in too good a condition to be a WWI "dig".
Looks like a well restored WWi or early WWII piece.
But i am not a collector, and could be wrong.
B.T.W. I have a as new Hitler Youth knife from personal collection for sale; I buffed away the "made in China".
