Just bought a feldpost letter from SS Wachkommando "Obersalzberg".
Can any tell me the units history please?
Feldpost number list.
So I can add that information to the letter..

The "Wach Kp. Obersalzberg" had only 1 FPNr : 03951
This FPnr (also the unit) appeared for the first time Okt 28th 1943.
Commander :
Urbat René, Ostuf.
Born 2.2.1907 in Mühlhausen
SS Nr 92 293
Wach-Kp.Obersalzberg 9.44
previous (11.43) in Kommandostab RFSS (data Mr Moore - Führerliste)
There are no missing listet for this unit in the VBL.
