US ARMY in Denmark 1945?

In the War diary of the German commander-in-chief in Denmark 1943-45, under the date 5.5.45 you can find this entry:

“Gegen 18.00 Uhr kleine Kolonne amerikanische Truppen Grenze nördlich Krusaa passiert.”
(”Around 06.00PM a small convoy of American troops past the border north of Krusaa”)

Anybody knows what unit this was?
