Learning German?

Post by Epaminondas »

Hi

After a bit of thought, I am wondering what would be the best way to get a working knowledge of German...

- computer course on CD-Roms
- Local college course
- other ideas?

Really don't care about learning to speak it, just read it. [For one thing my pronounciation in English is bad (native speaker), I don't want to even think about a foriegn language!].

I'd imagine a few people here might have tried to learn...

Thanks!

Hi,

this is an oft-posed question in various parts of Feldgrau. Try this recent discussion here and follow the links, maybe you'll find something helpful.

I think it depends on you.
What's the easiest way for you to learn?
