Here is a photo from eBay of Gustav Curtze, TN. Landesführer X until 1942.

I was not successful in acquiring this foto, but I do have a number of other fotos & documents from Curtze's estate.
Gustav Curtze, one of the longest serving TN. Landesführers.

From the documents which I have reviewed, Curtze was forced to 'step down' in mid 1942, as the result of a non-favorable
report from the Gestapo. This was a time, 1942, when TN. Landesführers were being reviewed for promotion to GenMajor
Ranks within the Polizei organization. (The Gestapo report stated that Curtze was not 'focused' enough on the needs of the Partei
and that he was thus Not recommended for promotion.)

The Chef der TN, Hans Weinreich, wrote to Gustav Curtze, stating that Curtze was to resign "with full honors." I have his full
retirement Urkunde and documents. ... Dave/dblmed1

This is a very special photo which shows 2 very high TN Officers - Otto Lummitzsch (founder of the TN!), and then
Reichsführer der Technische Nothilfe, (LEFT) & Landesführer Gustav Curtze (RIGHT), during a night reception for Lummitzsch.

Gustav Curtze was posted at that time to Königsberg, prior to assuming command of Landesgruppe X.
