well we agree on something. You Germans (and Austrians) have too lighten up dont you guys know any jokes. I found it very funny about a post in the translation posts about how you guys have female gender with turnips and not young girls in your language. Although I dont think it was meant as funny.

And which certain disaster would that be? WMD's in Iraq? Oops, demonstrably false. The Saddam Al-Qaeda link? Oops, non-existant. Terrorism? Well, the U.S. is doing quite a bit to enable the terrorists by storming into Iraq without broad support.

And what of the UN, and the countries which did not support the U.S. crusade? Perhaps they saw something the U.S. politicians had refused to. And now, you are paying the price. That is, the military and their families are paying the price, to say nothing of the Iraqi people...

You said Christoph;
"Well, every single post of you shows more than I want to know about such a individual like you. America was attacked by criminal terrorists not by "the arabs" like you prefer to call them. You are sad that you are not able to go to war??? So you would prefer to piss your pants when bullets fly around your head? You would prefer to feel the warm blood running down the remaining parts of your arm after a bomb hit your humvee? You would prefer to kill a human being which you have never seen before and know nothing about? You think it is cool and funny to be in a war?? Ask those who come back. Ask those who lost an arm, lef, eyesight, ability to hear, to walk, to sleep. You really believe these pink-butterfly-flower-bright-sky interviews they show you on TV? "
Do you know you are talking to some one who is 14 Yarhe alt. Sounds political too me.
Well, you seem to edit your posts very often after someone already answered which is not very helpfull in a discussion.
This paragraph of me you quote has nothing to do with politics. It has something to do with humans, death, hate, feelings, fears.....
If you think that any goverment in the world shows you the pure and only truth than you are as naive as 2ndsspanzer. And this is not political.. this is just normal common sense thinking.

We could talk for days about Iraq and I would not have the ability to change your mind. I was just saying Mr. Panzer is young and frustrated and alot of Americans young and old feel Islamic terrorists have targeted us for extermination.

We dont feel the germans owe us anything but alot of us hoped for at least sympathy from the french. While I do not agree with every action of the US I see the overall logic, the dutch are finding out what inaction is. The terrorists are not going to attack the west all at once they are already succeding by dividing us, and they will wait.

I am not sorry about US actions but sometimes things are hard, I hope history will judge us right. Thats all I can say. Can you Imagine if the french sent troops into the rheinland in 1936 thier may not have been ww2. Ahh those French

Hi Vpatrick,

Can you also imagine that if the US had not unilaterally recognised Israel without recognising a separate or joint Palestinian state in 1948, then 9/11 might never have happened?

Cheers,

Sid.

The first two I hope never happens to me. The third one I would be ok with. I don't care who they are, where they come from or what they believe if they threaten America, they go down. I will do any and all in my power to stop 9/11 from ever again happening!

And in doing so you become a cause of the next 9/11.

How much do you know about the rest of the world? What did you see outside the American borders?

By the way... I traveled through your North Carolina very recently, and for the third time. This because it happens to be in my way, when I am visiting Charleston, South Carolina, or Savannah, Georgia.

If it is anything worth to be seen in North Carolina, please let me know.

Hey Panzer!

I get your point, but. Arabs - People from Iraq (Don't know how it's spelled in US) have lost their homes and stuff like that. You say that you have no problem at all, so try it. Imagine if it was'nt even him or you, but you are standing at that town, your sweat start to drible, and then by a big bang you have killed a child, someones father, maybe someones mother, someones son? How would you feel about that?
I don't have the "Americans are fat weed asses" atitude, but your point is extreme. How can you hate every single guy from Iraq, when it was Al-Quada who did it? Now trust me, I would'nt mind if someone could get these terrorists away, but there is also people living normal lives in that country. My great grandfather was shot by the Brits' - should I then hate every single British man? NO! What's done is done, there is no way on earth you can change that.

America - the greatest country. Are you on crack? Why is it that the few Patriot americans is like "America is better than every other country"? That sound a little like a Nazi thinking way to me, America is no @#% greater then Denmark where I live for an instance. Every single country has a story. Every country is great in one way or another.

AH, I saw a movie. It was Michael Moores movie Fahrenheit 9/11. It turns out Bush had warnings of the 9/11 attacks but would not listen to them. He also has alot of relationships with saudis. I also saw babies which had died in the bombings, this time I saw people - not mindless creatures...

The "greatest country on earth" is what you think it is.

I haven't yet seen Fahrenheit. But I did'nt mean to say that you don't see people in middle eastern country men, but what you have written seems to sound like IMO that you practically hate every Muslim.

Btw. what do you mean by the "Greatest country on earth?"

Hi Guys,

Moore's film is evidence 1) of American freedom of speech and 2) that not all the propaganda and spin is in the Bush camp.

Fahrenheit 9/11 is full of half truths and distorted editing, of the sort employed by propaganda ministries in WWII. Its transparency and lack of subtlety in its distortions is breathtaking, as is the gullibility of anyone mistaking it for a documentary rather than a bad-tempered political polemic.

Moore is so convinced of the rightness of his message that he is brazenly prepared to suspend the standards of good journalism, let alone good history, to get his message across

Viewers who already hold Moore's perspective seem strangely unwilling to recognise these flaws, probably because he reinforces their own prejudices.

Like socialism, Moore offers a severe critique but no viable alternative. Capitalist societies need the likes of both socialism and Moore to act as their conscience. But God help us if either were allowed extended access to the levers of power.

Cheers,

Sid.

Yes, but in the beginning the movie was not allowed to be shown in the American cinema halls. Only after won the great prize at Cannes and became an international known matter it was shown in a small part of the theaters.

Today I have a very dumb question:

Considering your quote shown above, why did you choose as your nickname for this forum 2nd SS Panzer Das Reich, and not Patton's Army, or The Marines of Saipan, or General Lee ?
