What would have been the difference between the Armoured Kompanies and the motorised ones?
Was it just the presence of half tracks?
Or would it have included other armour such as Ladungsleger & minenroller tanks as well?

How many men in a Panzer Pionier Bataillon?
I have seen 700 - 900 quoted, can we gat any more accurate?

David, if you look at Christoph's WW2daybyday site in the KStN section under Pioniere you'll find the totals for a Company in 1938 and late 1944 along with the 1937 BHQ figures. Sorry that I can't give you closer than that.

Were sub machine guns or machine pistols standard issue in Panzer Pioneer battalions in 1941/2?
If so, how many?
