8,8 cm. Flak 36 / 37 with muzzle brake?

Post by Vos »

Hi,

I just saw the movie "Der Untergang" (very imressive) and in it came a 8,8 cm. Flak 36 / 37 with a muzzle brake a couple of times along. Since I never saw it before, I wondered if this was more than an one of a kind in 1945?

Regards,

what you saw was , almostt for sure, a 88 flak(r)
a Russian piece that looks very much like the real thing, and was indeed used by the german forces in WWII.

Hello Vos,
I made a small mistake, the gun is actually a 85 mm, not 88,the rest of the info, stands.

I've read this also, but it seems a lot were rebored to 88 mm.
