There is an documentary film shortly to be released with the name of
above. It will be about an elite U.S. intelligence unit comprised of
German/Jews trained in Maryland. They used their language skills and knowledge of Germany to help allies defeat Hitler.
Surviving Ritchie boys now in their 80's, tell their own stories of which
some are both humorous - such as the time they captured Hitler's
latrine orderly.
I personally have never heard of the Ritchie Boys unit from
Camp Ritchie but do hear quite often about such British units.
I wonder if the movie will reveal anything new?
This film is part of an documentary film festival.
