I know this has nothing to do with the forum but if anyone knows what American Army infantry divisions were involved in Attu, Kiska the Aleutian Islands (Japanese campaign) it would be much appreciated.

The 7th US Infantry Division fight in Attu and lost 600 men dead. Very high casualties to a so small objective, the Japanese lost 2500 dead.

In Kiska, the same division, supported by a regiment from the 10th US Mountain Division and the 13th Canadian Infantry Brigade, ocuppied the island without opposition from the Japanese.

I believe that the 32nd Infantry Regiment from the 7th Division, was from California...

By the way, anyone knows some site like Feldgrau.net that only study the Pacific War?
