For sale: Document group of Willi Schwarz

I am selling a document group that has belonged to Grenadier Willi Schwarz who served with 10./Pz.Gren.Rgt.59 (where he received the Wound Badge in Silver on the 10.03.1945).

Schwarz recieved NCO-training (Gruppenführer, 1.6.1944-10.10.1944) at the Heeres Unteroffizerschule der Pz.-Truppen. (3. company) in Arnswalde where he excelled in the signal training. In Arnswalde he received sniper (scharfschütze), close combat (nahkampf), close combat anti-tank defence (panzernahbekämpfung) as well as gas detection (gasspürer) training.

The price for the document group is 90 Euro. The group is said to have a value of 150-200 Euro.

Hi Surfer Charlie,

A better translation for Gasspürer is gas detector or gas detection training - based on US military vocabulary. You could also say chemical or chemical agent instead of gas - but gas is fine.
