Dum-dum bullets

Anyone hear or know if any allies used dum-dum bullets?

Hi Rodger,

It should be noted that any soldier with a knife can create dum-dum bullets.

It is therefore extremely likely that some individuals in Allied ranks did so.

Hi Sid,
I agree that anyone with a knife can make a dum-dum by cutting a + in a lead bullet,but most if not all military bullets are full metal jacketed.To make a dum-dum you have to file or grind the point.I was just wanting to know if anyone was accused of using dum-dums.
