I have in our family a piece of black felt or wool cloth that has an original Narvik Shield attached at the top center and has a number of German WW2 naval and or military patches attached to it around the cloth.
The entire piece is bordered with gold ribbon and has a red ribbon arrowheaded from bottom to center top where the shield is located. I have pictures of it and can send them to anyone who may be able to shed some light on its origin. We know that it was handed down from a Great uncle who was French Canadian. I would appreaciate anyone's help to give us an idea of what we have.
