Gottfried Wagner transferred from 8th SS Kav. Div to 17th SS

Greetings all,

I am trying to locate next of kin for Gottfried Wagner. I have submitted a request to

but was wondering if there were other resources available. Also, I was wondering what a typical response time is from that organization. Their website says to allow 6 months, but I was wondering if that was typical or a worst case time frame.

A friend of mine has Stummann Wagner's wehrpass, and has been trying to locate next of kin for 50 years to return it.
