FG42 info

I am currently doing research on the FG42 paratroop rifle for my gaming group and any information or references would be most welcome.

That helped a great deal, thank you ver much, one other question how easy would it be for a soldier (non paras) from any side to aquire ammunition for the FG-42? Also what was the power of the scope on the weapon (if any scope).

Hi

The FG 42 used the standard German 7,92 mm. round, used in all their K98 rifles and MG34/42 machineguns. So the ammunition was very accessible.
You could use the “Gw ZF 4", indicating Gewehr -Zielfernrohr 4-fach, Rifle-Telescopic sight 4 power on the FG42.
