Hello, I'm NEW on here so I hope I understand the rules pretty much, I am looking to buy a WW2 Red Cross German helmet, the seller says it's a VET buy, it was a huge Red Cross on the top of the helmet, the helmet looks too clean to me, thinking it's a repro, any advise out there for me????
Thanks, Joe

Re: Plan Z
You will probably get a faster and better response if you post a new thread about it on this sub forum:
viewforum.php?f=44
Alternatly these two may be the place to post it (most boards don't like the same or similar posts on multiple threads so PLS pick one unless you find out otherwise)
viewforum.php?f=52
viewforum.php?f=61
The axis history forum and world war II forums also have sections devoted to equipemt and militaria where you might get some good responses. SEe:

Re: WW2 Red Cross Helmet
It looks immaculate. Too much so for an item over 60 years old. The helmet appears to be of Luftschutz blue. Decal is not scratched. If it was original it has never seen much action. I'd say it's a modern copy.
