Hungarian Uniform Resources

Post by Jim A. »

Hello,

Is there any books over hungarian uniforms? Or a website that gives coverage over them?

Thank you very much for your time,
-Jim A.

Hello,

Thank you for the reply. I'm looking for how many variations of uniform there were (field, service, work) and the correct shade of colors. Also, if there were special uniforms for services. I have seen only a few pictures and it seems Hungarians wore all kinds of uniform in the field. Here is one and I find it very interesting, looks like officers.

Here's a link to a Hungarian uniform gallery. The photo you show shows different branches of the Hungarian military. From left to right, huszar, army, and airforce. The standard uniform was a khaki wool uniform. If you need any more help or photos just ask.
Best regards,
John

Thanks for the link John! With all the uniform photos so far has been an excellent site.

Here I have found a hungry WWII forum that is in English.
