It was good to see Henrik Krog acknowledge Australian troops in this war. We aren't the type to seek out the media to show our achievements.

Having worked with BritComm forces before, and having several as friends and acquiantences, I can assure any doubters that most of the blokes are mega-pros. Soldiering has not died out as it were in the UK. They still know their stuff.

Henrik, you were right. But now, Spain -much to my regret- is sending more than 1300 soldiers, including a full, combat ready light infantry batallion, from the Spanish Legion, and a full complement of logistic services as help to the US occupation forces. They are on their way now. Shame.
