The photo history version is readily available on zvab.com and abebooks in the re-print. Nebel/Dorffler's reproduction values are not very good, sadly.

The text history from memory (I saw it once in a library) is really quite pithy (maybe no more than 100 pages).

I have the Dörfler Die 9. Panzer-Division: Bewaffning Einsätze Männer. Many pictures, very little text. I was hoping for his older text providing more textual information. But you are saying this is not the case?

I think so. It's a good five or six years since I saw it, so I may be mistaken. Jan-Hendrik might have a copy - or have more info as he's got almost every divisional history ever printed.
