Just wanted to thank Rich for the response. Sorry if the term 'curve-fitting' touched a nerve I remembered it mostly becuase one of the books went into a lengthy defence of QJM and its practices so the term stuck in my mind. I should have realised it was a hot button and avoided using it alll, rather than putting it quotes. (I hope I put it in quotes).
Anyhow just a note of thanks. I figured 'Maddog' that since you were talking to the source, that my input would have been superflous and silly. But I did want to thank Rich for speaking to us/you.
