Hi Jones,

Denmark had no tanks, but it did have about half a dozen new Swedish Lansverk heavy armoured cars. However, I think they were on the island of Jylland and so were not in a position to oppose the main German attack on the Jylland Peninsula.

There are several good Danish military history sites, at least one of which has photos of the vehicle.

Cheers,

Sid.

Hi Jones,

Yup, sorry. I did, indeed, mean the island of Sjaelland.

Thanks,

Sid.

Take a look at http://www.chakoten.dk/ and http://www.milhist.dk/ I'm sure you can find information about excatly what units were involved in fightings on the 9th og April there.

For more information about armoured vehicles in the Danish army go to http://www.armyvehicles.dk/
