Hi All,
I am at present looking for information on Major Martin Dietrich, who was in the Luftwaffe during WW2. My information is that he was commander of Zeppelins during the great war. I am trying to confirm some information that i have. This information suggests that he was a Major in the Luftwaffe in 1938. Any information on him would be greatfully received.
Thanks
Glynn.
Martin Dietrich ww1 Zeppelin Commander
I have an on-going data base on all Luftwaffe officers in the rank of Hauptmann and above. This is the only entry I have for your man so far, but it will at least give you an idea of what he was doing in 1939, which is a good indication of what he was probably doing for the remainder of the war. My guess is that he was an Offizier d.Reserve because he does not appear in the promotion lists for A 1 and A 2 officers.
