Hi,

40 000 french soldiers were captured in Dunkerque ( Dunkirk for you)
The BEF let after the evacuation :
76 000 tons of ammunitions
600 000 tons of supplies and fuel
1 200 guns
1 250 antitank and antiaircraft guns
6 400 antitank rifles
11 000 machine-guns
75 000 vehicles

My book doesn't tell where exactly all that were seized by the germans.

So long.

Does that number of 75,000 vehicles seem kind of high?

Hi,

It's possible but it's the number in my book. But you're maybe right. Maybe it's a typing mistake or maybe it's all the vehicles lost by the BEF in France in 1940. We'd rather to wait for more info.

I have no first hand evidence about this number, but the BEF is well known as a totally motorized (small) army.

These figures from my understanding (from other sources) are the total captured/lost during the campaign
You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.
