Here is a foto from an album of mine that shows the highest personalities of the Reich probably in 1936 somewhere in the field. Easily recognisable is AH and HG with Rhoem 's head just visible at center, peeking over the group. Then maybe Speer at left in civilian dress suit. Can anyone please ID some of the other personalities?

Well I can't see any of the photo, it must not of posted properly. But without looking at it, I can assure you that if Rohm is in the picture, it wasn't taken in 1936, he having been dead two years by then. Night of the Long Knives was in 1934.

Hello StefanowiczRA!
As fellow member HOS Bandit already pointed out, Ernst Röhm couldn't be in a 1936 photgraph since he was killed in the summer of 1934. The tall Generalfeldmarschall standing behind Hitler looks like Werner von Blomberg, the then Commander in Chief of the Armed forces. The shorter of the two black-clad SS-officers standing behind Hitler is not SD but Josef "Sepp" Dietrich, the Commander of the LSSAH. The (older) man in the civilian suit to the left of Hitler does not resemble Albert Speer at all. I hope that you meant the bigger resolution photograph...
Just my two cents,
Krollspell

Hello Dr!!
Thanks for the help! In the large foto, I agree 100% and I was certainly wrong about the Rhoem - working too late I guess. In the large foto, my abbreviation of SD was for Sepp - he is easy to recognise but thanks! Teh first fotos is a thumbnail foto - that is a link - if you double click the image - it takes you to ImageShack - then - the foto is found and can be scaled up to a very clear image. It is a wall - to - wall image of important people of the early Reich and on the left side of that foto is the man I think looks like Speer. Can a few of the experts please check out the linked image and give there best help as to the who and when and where? I am sure that Rhoem is the head in the backgound at center in the linked image.

99 per cent certain that's Blomberg on Hitler's right. And on the far left of the image, looks suspiciously like a slim, well slimmer, Göring...
... and looking at the landscape pretty much confirms it.

I too have looked at the images and noticed the license plate
which shows a R and maybe a W. Could this mean Reichs wehr.
Something else is the absense of eagles on the uniforms.

Its before 1936 as pointed out the absense of eagles on the uniforms would mean it was before 30th October 1935 after that date the eagles were to be warn on the uniform .
Looking at the photo I can just make out on the steel helmet the transfer and they were introduced on the 15th March 1933
so going on that I waould say 1934 is the date of the photo as I cant enlarge the photo to see if its Ernst Röhm as he was killed in June it just might be him

Re: Who are we, where are we and when are we?
Noticed something on the first image, the little one in first post.
The civilian far left looks a lot like a young Wernher von Braun.
The (what looks like a) Luftwaffe officer behind Hitler might be Erhard Milch.

Your correct it certainly does appear to be von Braun. The civilian far left looks a lot like a young Wernher von Braun
Wonder what he would be doing posing in this photo in those early days?
