There are many outstanding resources on the web regarding this area of interest. (It also happens to be one of my favorite topics)

Neuschwabenland Music archive. There are hundreds of songs and military marches here. They are all available for downloading.

The Volkslieder index has two pages that will assist you. Both have the lyrics to hundreds and hundreds of songs. Some have downloadable MP3/4 versions.

Soldatenlieder:

World War II index:
http://ingeb.org/WWII.html

I have almost a dozen original song books of Soldatenlieder. If you looking for a specific song, let me know and I can post the lyrics for you.

Also, if you have ITunes you can go to their store front and type in the word "Soldatenlieder" (without the quote marks) and you'll find quite a few of the classic songs there for sale.

My brother received a few boxes which contained books from our passed away grandmother. He found (and gave them to me!) a book written by Friedrich Schiller and 'Das deutsche Soldatenliedbuch'. We think our grandmother received those books from our German grandfather. I do like Schiller, but the Liedbuch was even better! I saw it on http://www.zvab.com, you can pick it up for about €15 or so.
Always in need for info about: Dutchmen in the NSKK, HJ and TeNo.

What a great site!!! Being an American and serving my country in battle, in the Gulf war and in Iraq 2004-2005, I grew up with a greatgrandfather who fought for germany in WWI and an American grandfather who fought in WWII. I idolized both armies as a child. Thank you for the replies!!
