Revenge Killings

Post by German Born »

Were revenge killings taken place either during or after the war?
I'm saying that if a high ranking officer was taken out was there a flow on effect?

Reprisal killings, yes there were many of. The most documented being Oradour sur Glane as a result of the murder of Das Reich officer by partisans.
