Thanks for the reply Prosper. Colonel Andre' was in command of a captured Soviet armored train that participated in the capture of Kursk in November '41. I am trying to find out if that operation is why he received the DKiG. Any Idea where I can find that info? Jerry

No sorry Jerry but I didn't know more.
All what I found is that he was the Kommandeur of the 521. Infanterie Regiment when he received that award.
