Your Great Uncle wears a Waffenrock Uniform Tunic for Parade or Ceremonies, with the rank of Feldwebel (Sergeant),the Marksman Lanyard and two badges of Sports,The DRL and The SA Sports Badge, also a German Heer Long Service Medal for 4 Years in the breast.
An infantry regiment number appears on the shoulder straps.

Good luck and regards!

In your search for unit and service locations:

The source for next of kin is the Deutsche Dienststelle (WASt)

Address: Deutsche Dienststelle (WASt)
Eichborndamm 179
13403 Berlin

E-mail: [email protected]
Internet: http//www.dd-wast.de

You need to be next of kin to use this service/agency. They are usually very prompt. I have used them successfully regarding my German veteran relatives.
