Pfeifpatronne

Post by Helmut »

Servus,

Can you please tell me what a pfeifpatronne is? i saw it translated as a whistling round but I'm sure there has to be more to it.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

Helmut

I am not an expert, but didn't it means a tracer ammunition ( bullet or cartridge) ?
Kindly regards from Belgium and sorry for my poor english knowledge.

Hi Helmut!

It is a round that whistles, but not exclusively. Can also have tracer or other pyro effects to it.
