Re: Best book on Africa and Normandy?
I think Jean-Paul Pallud's Desert war Then & Now is excellent: http://www.rzm.com/books/atb/atbbk051.cfm (some sample pages provided). Then there is the two-volume Afrika Korps at War set by George Forty.

Re: New David Glantz book being released!

Who is going to publish the Sealion book? When?

Re: New David Glantz book being released!
I have not read Stahel, and it is unlikely that I will due (unless some library accessible to me has them)to the very negative reviews of his books by R. A. Forczyk on Amazon. I agree with Jochen that Musial's works should be translated into English. There is also a very interesting collection of es...

Is the book solely in German or bilingual? The publisher's site says that all their books are completely bilingual (German/English).

Re: Feldgrau's Future
To be frank, if AHF goes under, good riddance as due to Wendel's policy of supreme political correctness as is apparently required by the current suicidal Sweden. Good historical debate is impossible without complete freedom of opinion and freedom from political agendas.

I am really hoping for a translation of Lothar Rendulic's memoirs. And why not Hausser's as well.

Re: Prohorovka/Lawrence
Well, I have some info to share. I have seen a photo of a "printer's dummy" and the book is huge! The format is about 8" x 10". The price has not been determined yet, but the publisher estimate is about $180. It may sound steep, but given that many militaria books of far lesser s...
