Re: "Nuke"

Sorry if that sounded crude! I'll re-phrase it. We used nuclear weapons on Japan in august of '45 and probably not before only because they were not perfected until July. From looking at Stefan's Volkstrauertag photos the soldiers appear to be quipped with their issue assault rifles.
Hello, please provide the links to such photos.

Now Guillermo, you know that comment was out of line. I don't think Pat D intended an insult in a "what if" post. A lot of innocent people died "for real" at WTC and your remark is disrespectful of them. ~D It was an impulse, I am sorry. The thing is that the term "nuke'em&...

Re: Was Unconditional Surrender Policy Necessary

There's a picture of a German destroyed tank, I believe somewhere near the Oder river, that had the following words painted on it:

"KAMPF KAMPF KAMPF!"

Re: defending Berlin

Pat D wrote:They probably could have held out a couple months longer and maybe avoided the destruction of the city but eventually I think they would have run out of food, ammo and fuel or we would have nuked them.
Just like they nuked WTC?

Variables

So, if oil is the reason, why don't we invade Venezuela? It's closer. Or Saudi Arabia, there aren't that many people there anyway? And Osama is a Saudi, right? I'm confused, why are we invading Iraq again? And where are our good friends, the Kuwaitis? Cheers, D There are two main variables: Israel ...

Wanna ban?

Perhaps all fire weapons should be banned.

My 2 cents.

Was the AK-47 based on the Sturmgewehr 44? They are so similar.

I'd like to read your opinions. Thanks.

Rhetorical question

How many American and British military bases are left on German soil?
If Germany has a modern army, then this creates a paradox.
