I was wondering if anyone has had the opportunity to read Alistair Noble's 'Nazi Rule & the Soviet Offensive into Eastern Germany 1944-1945: Darkest Hour"? If so any thoughts on the book, maybe even a mini review?

252.ID 1x StuG IV operational, 2 in repair.
StuG.Brig 278 included 8x StuG IV (7 operational) amongst its holdings. Everything else appears to be StuG III's.(l/43's,L/48's & StuH 42's variants)

According to my notes ONLY, the 190th is the only StuG Brigade to report a strength figure on the 30th Dec'44.

I was unaware that the s.Pz.Jag.Abt.88 was with in East Prussia at all in either Dec'44 or Jan'45.
