That is an excellent site, however unless I missed it doesn't have any German sources for srengths during the combat agains Combat Command C. US sources say 30 tanks north (10 Pz) and 30 tanks south (21Pz) but such battlefield estimates are notoriously inaccurate

I beg to differ on this. The Germans re-bored captured Russian 76mm FlaK to 8.8cm, so there is a such a thing as a 8.8cm Russian gun.

I'm not saying 21st Pz had any though. :-)
