JJF Publishers have announced on their website that they are considering reprinting the book Michael Wittmann by Patrick Agte, sometime next year. I had a question. In Fellgeibel's list Rentschler is listed as having won only the Knight Cross. However in Angolia's For Fuhrer and Fatherland Military Awards of the Third Reich, I believe on page 102, it shows Rentschler with Oakleaves, and is mentioned as being an Oakleaves winner. Hi, my grandfather fought for the German army during WWII. However, he had disappeared after around 1944.
