This might help:

Obviously these are all general. You might have more luck asking your question more precisely.

Btw, it's "Gliederungen"...

Thanks Richard,

I figured as much.
I ordered "Kurland; die vergessene Heeresgruppe" by Haupt, just to have a read on the subject. I'll add corrections as needed.

Good book on Kurland battles?

I'm looking for a good book on the Kurland battles. I know of Kurowski (red the opinions here) and Haupt's books. Haupt has written several, but I'm not clear on the differences between them all. I'm looking for a good book that mentions divisions, etc. Pics are a premium. It doesn't need to cover a...

Generaly Heer soldiers couldn't be recognized from their uniform. Some "named" units (fe Grossdeutschland) did have armbands, and later in the war some units wore small metal insignias on their field caps (fe 116 PD). The Waffen-SS units were easier to recognize, as they regularly wore arm...

I assume you mean the actual organization? Some idea:
Dugdale mentions in vol. I part 3:

Pz Reg 22

I. Abt: 1 and 2 Komp Pz IV, 3 Komp Pz V, no 4 Komp
II. Abt refitting

Both Pz Gren Reg missed their third Abt/ Battalion, and Reg support weapons.

Pz Reg 1 OOB Fruhlingserwachen

I'm looking for an overview of Pz Reg 1/ 1 Pz Div during the battles in Hungary.

I'm guessing that I Abt had 4x Panther Komp and II Abt had 4x Panzer IV Komp.

I tried a search, but it didn't come up with what I'm looking for.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Opinions: "Der Kampf um Ostpreussen", by Dieckert/

I've got the above book by Dieckert and Grossmann, but am looking for opinions on it's accuracy, regarding units, afv allocation, etc.

Thanks in advance.

346th Tank Destroyer Bttn, 1st Co., Netherlands, 1945

Would anyone have more info on this unit? It's mentioned as a finishing option in the Tamiya Marder III M kit.
I'm primarily interested in were it fought in The Netherlands and against which allied forces.

(Follow up) question on Dugdale's "Panzer divisions, ..

I've got part 4A December 1944 of Dugdale's series on German OOB's from Sept 1944 to Jan 1945. I really like the overview of Panzer Regiments and Aufklarungs Abt where the different vehicles are shown divided into the relevant platoons and companies. See f.e. 2 Pz Div, p. 45 and 47. Is this featured...

Looking for info on sWS allocation

I'm looking for units that received the schwere Wehrmacht Schlepper. I would also like to know to what kind of units (Panzer Jaeger, etc.) this vehicle was likely to have been issued. right now all I've got is the well known pic of 12 SS Pz Div in the Ardennes showing a Panther passing a row of sWS....

Production/ delivery time for one Panther/ Panzer IV

How long would it take for one Panther or Panzer IV to be fully built and delivered to troops in the field during 1944?

Thanks in advance.
